Perry Street Townhouse
The house is organised around a single stair, so we treated it as a piece of joinery: smoked oak folded around every landing, with sheer linen behind it to soften the light from the garden.
Book-matched marble lines the core of the house, its veining mirrored panel to panel, and reeded glass separates the rooms without closing them off. Furniture is sculptural and low — bouclé lounge chairs, a marble drum table, a single black-patinated work by a local artist set in a bed of slate.

From the studio
“Two materials, used generously and without apology. The marble and the oak do all the talking.”

Detail
Every marble panel was laid out full-size in the stone yard before cutting, so the veins run unbroken around corners.
