What Actually Happens in Your First Facial

Journal collage1600 × 1600 — coming soon

A lot of people tell us they put off booking a facial because they didn’t know what would happen. Fair enough. Here is the whole hour, start to finish.

The first ten minutes

We talk. What you use, what bothers you, what your skin does when you’re stressed. Then we cleanse and look closely under a magnifying lamp.

The massage is where most people fall asleep.

The middle

Exfoliation suited to your skin that day, extractions only where they’re needed, and a long lymphatic massage. Then a mask, while we work on your hands, neck and scalp.

The finish

Serum, moisturiser and SPF, and a short written note on what we saw and what to use at home. You might be a little pink for an hour. That’s it.

You don’t need to prepare anything. Come as you are.
