The next seven days at Sunhouse. Hold a spot here, or see the whole season on the calendar.

Whether it is a 6:30 am sunrise flow or a candlelit Deep Flow, every Sunhouse class has the same four parts. You always know where you are.
Every class opens with one. A seed sound or a short chant that marks the start and tunes the room.
Pranayama before we move: a technique chosen for that class, from a calming long exhale to breath of fire.
The physical practice. It looks different in every class, from Iyengar precision to a candlelit yin hold.
We finish seated, with a mudra, a hand gesture that gives the mind somewhere to rest.
Each class works with one energy centre: its element, its seed mantra, its mudra. Take them in order or drop in where you need to.

About this classFour longer workshops, each once a month, on weekend afternoons.
Two and a half hours on getting upside down with confidence. We break headstand, forearm stand and handstand into their parts, practise each at the wall, and spend time on coming down as well as going up.
A two-hour practice of twists and heat-building work to stoke agni, the digestive fire. Good after a heavy week, a holiday, or a change of season.
A slow workshop combining self-massage with therapy balls, gentle movement and inversions that help lymph drain. Expect to leave lighter and a little sleepy.
A flow class with a talk inside it. While you move, Leila guides a meditation on one idea from yoga philosophy: the yamas, the koshas, the eight limbs. Then Dev leads breathwork and a sound healing with bowls and gong.
Sunhouse sits on Signal Street in a 1920s building with tall west windows. The afternoon sun crosses the whole floor, which is why the evening classes start with the blinds up.
We keep the room small, the classes to eighteen mats and the teachers to five people we trust.
Our storyThe intro offer covers unlimited classes for your first fourteen days, so you can try the whole Chakra Series and find your time of day.
Two letters a month, on the new moon and the full moon: an astrological update, the month’s events, a mantra and a playlist.
